The best way to treat a maidenhair fern is to stand the pot containing the fern in a fancy vase with asaucer inverted at the bottom. Pour in water to the depth of about half-way up the flower-pot. The fern should be kept in a cool place and not allowed to get dry. Never water one of these ferns by placing it under the tap.
把种有铁线蕨的花盆放在好看的花瓶里，花盆底部放一只倒扣的碟子，这是种植铁线蕨最好的方式。花瓶里倒入水，水位大致在花盆一半的位置。将它放在阴凉的位置，不要让花瓶里的水干涸。绝不要把铁线蕨放在水龙头下浇水。
